The client was cycling along a Council owned cycle path when he struck a ‘flood sign’ that had been left face down in middle of cycle path. The accident happened in the early morning and it was still dark. Matter denied by the Council insurers throughout and proceedings were required before the case went to trial. The Claimant succeeded at trial and was awarded damages and costs.
