£75,000 Settlement
The Client sustained a serious injury to his forearm when it was trapped and de-gloved in a stone crushing machine during the course of his employment. It occurred on his first day at the job. Despite involving three potential defendants, no response was received from any of them and it was necessary for proceedings to be commenced which resulted in all three defendants becoming involved more fully. Liability was disputed by all three defendants but the claim was eventually negotiated to settlement after a roundtable meeting.
