Melissa Buchanan joined Pryers in April 2019, as a medical negligence Solicitor, having relocated to York from the West Midlands.

Melissa obtained a degree in English Language and History at the University of Birmingham before going on to study Law at the University of Law, Birmingham.

She went on to work as a Paralegal in the West Midlands for a number of years before qualifying as a Solicitor in December 2018.

Melissa now specialises in medical negligence claims has worked on claims involving sepsis, the mismanagement of meningitis and pregnancy loss.

In spare spare time Melissa likes to read, swim and spend time with my family.
