Having qualified as a Solicitor in March 2014, Jamie specialises in both clinical negligence claims as well as claims relating to defective medical devices including various hip components, ankle replacements and implantable heart devices. Many of these cases involve technical cross-border issues both in Europe and further afield.

- Clinical Negligence including cases concerning amputations, delayed diagnosis of ACL injuries and the failure of various joint replacements
- Product Liability including metal on metal hip components, off-label hip replacements and implantable heart devices.
Jamie joined the firm in August 2011 and, after working as both an Office Assistant and Paralegal, he commenced his training contract in August 2012. Since November 2011, Jamie has worked extensively on cases concerning defective medical devices. This being an area of law that Jamie wishes to continue developing in throughout his career.
Jamie lives in the centre of York and enjoys spending time with friends as well as keeping active. He enjoys road cycling on a regular basis, playing lead guitar in a local band and photography.
Jamie is involved in many of Pryers’ charity events. In August 2014, he completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge in less than 12 hours and now plans to cycle from Whitehaven to Tynemouth for the Spinal Injuries Association.
