I am married, with two adult children, and live in a village in between York and Harrogate. I take an active part in village life and in my free time enjoy cycling and walking.   I have a life-long passion for all forms of motorsport.

I have vast experience in handling all types of personal injury claims, having been involved in legal practice for almost 30 years. These might range from catastrophic injury claims down to a relatively modest tripping accident. I try to apply the same level of professional skill irrespective of the nature of the case.

I also undertake other types of claims on behalf of the Firm and am confident in running cases from inception through to trial.

I have been with Pryers since the firm started operations in 2003. Prior to joining Pryers, I had worked for a number of law firms in York and Liverpool.

Formerly, I was a police officer in the Merseyside Police and worked in a variety of challenging roles.

I would just like to thank Andrew for all his help and understanding in my case. And the sensitive way in which he dealt with it.

I found the service from Andrew Russell outstanding and I couldn’t fault him at all. I would like to thank Andrew for everything he has been amazing throughout the course of my claim and he really is a credit to Pryers. "The jury highlighted how, despite the fact Payne had apparently tried to take her own life earlier that day, staff did not remove from her room an item she had used in that suicide attempt and went on to use that evening."
