Court of Protection Property and Finances Legal Assistant

Layla is a Court of Protection legal assistant in our Court of Protection team.

Recently graduated from university with her law degree, Layla brings strong client‑care skills from prior customer‑facing roles. Her responsibilities include:

  • Organising case files
  • Maintaining accurate records and diaries
  • Act as a dependable point of contact for clients
  • Working closely with families and litigation friends
  • Assist with legal research on the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Court of Protection practice
  • Drafting witness statements
  • Preparing court bundles
  • Coordinate with barristers, social workers, medical professionals and financial experts
