Pryers have successfully recovered £14,500 in compensation for a client who tripped on a pothole in the street.

B tripped on a pothole outside a takeaway whilst she was having a cigarette and waiting for her order.

Pryers wrote to the local authority holding them responsible for B’s accident due to the poor condition of the pavement. The local authority admitted liability for B’s accident.

Medical evidence confirmed that B sustained multiple injuries such as a fractured nose, a fractured tooth, abrasions to her face and a whiplash injury as well as an adjustment disorder.
