Mr K.T. – Industrial Deafness

£7,500 Settlement

A noise induced hearing loss claim involving a period of employment going back to the early 1970s involving an employer who was no longer trading. The client had sustained a modest hearing loss and tinnitus as a result of working in the shoe making industry. Enquiries eventually led us to identify the relevant insurers and despite being unable to obtain any evidence in respect of noise levels and/or preventative measures taken by the employer to safeguard the claimant, the claim was successfully concluded.
