I qualified as a solicitor in May 2015 and at the same time joined Pryers, specialising in Clinical Negligence and also Product Liability, representing those who have been injured by various defective medical devices.

I live in York with my husband, and am a keen musician, playing the oboe and piano, as well as singing in the York Musical Society.

My clients have suffered a range of different injuries under various medical specialisms, including claims against care homes, GP negligence, delayed diagnoses of cancer, surgical negligence and fatal cases.

A lot of my work involves representing families at inquests, when their loved ones have passed away following treatment in hospital and I have a great passion for helping families through this process. I also have a lot of experience in this area, including representing the families of mental health patients, and the parents of deceased children, as well as children who have lost a parent.

Testimonials

Sarah has client care in abundance. She combines it with an attention to detail, thoroughness in preparation and dedication to her client’s case that is second to none.

The service from Sarah could not have been better.

Sarah has good attention to detail and is particularly adept at anticipating opponents’ next moves. The warmth and empathy she displays to clients, particularly in inquest cases, goes a long way to putting them at ease and guiding them through the difficult decisions they often have to make. Put simply: I would recommend Sarah to any client without hesitation.
