I joined Pryers in November 2007 after working for a commercial law firm in York as their Office Manager for 6 years. Prior to this I worked in several HR and management positions after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in 1995 with an honours degree in Business Management.

Married with two cats, I am striving towards my black belt in taekwondo and enjoy yoga and pilates too. I am involved with the charity ‘Breathe Easy York’ and enjoy fundraising for this and other charities.

My role at Pryers encompasses many different areas, including HR, managing the admin team, facilities and property management, project management, training, counselling, recruitment and selection, events management, travel and accommodation, welfare and H&S and employment law expert.

I have been a member of the CIPD since 2008

Testimonials

Very efficient, personable and capable.

Since working with Marie, I have found her to be credible, ethical and fair – the candidates that I have placed at Pryer’s never fail to give her glowing reports. Marie is loyal and passionate about the firm and has remained professional throughout my dealings with her. I cannot speak highly enough of her.
