Solicitor to Run Vienna Marathon for Spinal Injuries Association

Pryers’ very own Alistair Stokes is preparing to run the Vienna Marathon in Austria on April 23rd in support of the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA).

The Spinal Injuries Association

The national charity helps spinal cord injured people rebuild their lives. The Spinal Injuries Association provides key services and support to individuals by advising, educating, and campaigning for change, ensuring each person can lead a full and active life.

Alistair’s Fundraising

Alistair has set a fundraising target of £1,600 and has already raised nearly £1,500 for the Spinal Injuries Association.

Talking about why he has decided to raise funds for the Spinal Injuries Association, Alistair has said: “I’ve specialised in the area of medical negligence for nine years now and during that time I have acted for many clients who have suffered spinal injuries. Quite simply I have seen, first-hand, the devastating effect that a spinal injury can have.”

He added: “I hope that by running the Vienna Marathon I can help the SIA to continue the remarkable work it does supporting individuals with spinal injuries.”
